I was with all the way until the end, even though Dominique and Tre Pounds "relationship" was nasty. I thought Camille was a bit too jealous but that scene at the end had me like 😮...Tre Pound Is beyond grimy I mean he just don't give a fluck. I'm off to read the rest of the series...hopefully somebody was dreamin'!!Product details

This was an okay read! There were some things that transpired that made no sense and didn't really seem to flow with the story that was being told. But once you get passed the irrelevant things, the story that is being told is actually pretty good. It took me a few days to get into the story, but once I did, I didn't want to put the book down. It had its ups and downs, but overall was an okay read.

Action,fast paced,exciting....typical GHETTO story..dumb women...guns...friendship tested....few dumb men...TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE.....YET you keep reading the story...This story is like an addiction ...ya gotta know WHAT COULD POSSIBLY HAPPEN NEXT.........

I'm lost for words on this review. Tre, Camille, Dominique, Marlon.....the list goes on. How could someone not get caught up in this? And to think I was hoping for a very different ending. This was an interesting, gripping story. Excited to finish with part 2.
THIS WAS ACTUALLY A GOOD READ THE POUND WAS A HOT HOT MESS AND CAMILLE WAS A HOT MESS AS WELL SHE GOT ON MY NERVERS ACTING CLINGY AND CHILDISH..YET POUND FAMILY IS LEGENDARY IN THE STREETS WITH REAL DRAMA MOSTLY ON TR POUNDS END....THE WEIRD PART IS TRE POUND HAS ROAD SIDE SEX WITH HIS LITTLE COUSIN CAMILLE ugh....drama MESSY and I can't wait to get part two....
But then it got very weird & gross! I don't want to ruin it for others but I will say that that's gross & an abomination. I found the story interesting, I liked it, I didn't care for tre pound, I thought he was an Ass, the ending proved it. I thought Dominique was a ditsy, I thought camil (I think is her name) needs professional help! There's something wrong with that chic. I'm actually hoping that her & tre aren't related...
You have to be a true reader to keep up with everything that is going on in this book. Although, there where quite a few characters introduced throughout the book, which usually is a pet peeve of mine, the author was able to balance the story without any confusion as to who is who. It's fast paced so you really have to pay attention to the foreshadowing to not get hit with a curve ball, but even still, Jordan through me through a loop towards the ending that made my jaw drop! On to part 2!
I tried to get into this book, but I just couldn't do it. Tre pound had a little bit too much power. It was like he is untouchable. I don't want to give the storyline away so I won't go into detail. I didn't like Camille at all, she seems to act more like his girlfriend than his cousin. Anyway I won't be reading part 2. I skipped pages through part 1. I just couldn't get into it.
